My Story

My name is Jason Jarrell. I grew up in a small town called Dexter Missouri. I moved to Springfield once I graduated high school to attend Evangel University to play baseball and pursue a degree in Pre-Physical therapy. I had 4 years full of fun as a catcher for Evangel and upon graduation I got accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Missouri State. It was around this time my love for business began to bud. I started a business right when I started my Doctorate program flipping couches out of my single car garage. I would pickup couches on Facebook to fix, reupholster, or dye the leather to then list it on Facebook to sell. I managed to fill up my single car garage pretty quickly and before you know it I had about 2000 square feet of storage filled to the brim with couches stood on their end. I would make deliveries of my sales before my 8am lectures and pick up couches on lunch break and after class. I had found a solid rhythm upon wrapping up the first year of my Doctorate program and decided it was time to drop out. Dropping out of my Doctorate program to sell dirty used couches sounds crazy right? Well I loved it. Fast forward about 6 months and one of my best friends joined me in the endeavor. We went from selling 20 couches per month to 70-80 per month with a store in Springfield and St. Louis. The business is called “Good Furniture” and you will see our listings littered all over Facebook Marketplace.

How did I get into houses?

I had been interested in real estate for a while. When I saw opportunity I made my jump into Hive. I have been able to help over 60 individuals. I love being in the housing market. I thoroughly enjoy remodeling houses and making them look beautiful. Remodeling houses is my canvas and creative impact that fuels my desire.
